Plot:
Scotty and Kelly are assigned to assist a high-school rival of Kelly's (Gannon) to retrieve a large cache of gold from a plane which crashed in a jungle... His fiancée, Jean, joins him. Unfortunately, she and Kelly had a fling in the past and he left her without saying why...
To make matters worse, the guys are being tailed... and while that is happening, animosity builds between Kelly, Jean, and Gannon as it is revealed that she really isn't in love with him because he's too aloof. And Gannon can't trust Kelly one inch knowing that he can't support her as much as Kelly could and that he believes Kelly will make an attempt to woo Jean back. Will the group succeed in their quest? Or fail? If they fail, if is the disharmony from within which claims the cause of failure?

D. P. Cole's most memorable
scene and/or quote:
In a fight scene between Gannon and Kelly, a weakened Gannon (he's losing the struggle) draws a large knife and tries to hack Kelly with it. Kelly kicks his face, and tries to kill him when Scotty enters and states "Not on government time, not on government time..." Both a gripping scene and a comment which can be interpreted and perceived in many different ways.

D. P. Cole's review and rating:
While the animosity of the internal characters adds a tremendous amount of drama to the story, the story almost fails -- due to complete boredom in the first half. I've complained about this before, but this time I actually have good reason for this complaint. Character drama is very tricky when you have characters you don't really know (Gannon and Jean). Until the (predictable) moment comes when we realize that Jean and Kelly still have the hots for each other, the story plods along not realizing that the viewer wants to be entertained. However, the second half actually goes somewhere to such an extent, it deserves better than a mere 6.
