Plot:
Having staged a fight to attract attention of the media (and make it look as if he and Kelly have had a falling out), Scotty poses as a low-paid tour guide at NASA to flush out a ring of saboteurs. Kelly makes first contact with a suspect saboteur, who later talks to Scotty when Margo, a friend Scotty hired, poses as his ex-wife and demands to have backed-up alimony paid up now.
The scenario is set, as the suspect is involved and they figured out Margo and have kidnapped her. What started as a tightly-constructed gambit has gone haywire and the guys have to not only stop the saboteurs from setting the space program (let alone the Apollo project) behind several years, but to save innocent lives as well, including their own...

R. B. Mitsch's review and rating:
An entertaining series favorite: The Old Sham Routine by the boys to dupe the enemy has an engaging teaser and the industrial espionage is refreshing after 2 seasons of Cold War fighting. However a lack of energy by Cosby's performance in the 1st half, plus a badly staged Kelly/thug fight doesn't help this one hold up to a 2nd viewing. But the cool finale with stunt work, shootouts and a jazzy background score make it enjoyable overall.

D. P. Cole's review and rating:
The acting in this story is superb throughout. Cosby in particular is absolutely charming as a tour guide, and even more so as being the spy pretending to be the guide. And you can tell that he's either used the "I need money" line in later stand-up routines or perhaps that's where the line came from. Either way, it's hilarious, he performs it hilariously, and it works perfectly for Scott given Scott's personality.
The pre-credits staged-fight is extremely funny, with the best joke featuring Scott telling Kelly how he boozes up so much that it sweats out of his pores!
Bobbie is extremely chilling as a villainess, and Pippa Scott puts in a tremendously good performance. Her acting caliber would make her an interesting sort of Bond villainess if she were given the chance (see "From Russia With Love" or "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" as examples of way-cool female villains.).
Margo is quite a strong character, although she is quick to tell the bad guys that the whole affair was contrived. Still, she takes every opportunity to try to escape and to warn Scott and Kelly of the danger out of respect and camaraderie for the two men. Equally interesting, she decided not to follow Kelly's instructions, furthering the independence concept, although that led to her being captured. Still, the timing, writing, and acting is so good that her scenes feel entirely natural and believable. It's great to see that women are more than just stereotypic housewives who scream at every little monster that walks by.
If there is a scene I dislike, it's where the old maid decides rather incorrectly that the bad guy is the sweet innocent darling yet Kelly, because of his attire and looks, is some sort of hooligan -- she held him hostage while the baddie scampers off. Worse, the woman does a terrible impersonation of Granny Clampett. On the other hand, this scenario is more likely to happen in real life than for everything to actually work the way it should so I do forgive it.
There are plenty of strong scenes in this story, but the most tense and gripping are the scenes where Scotty and Margo are to freeze to death in a refrigerated train car. Scotty's final attempt at telling the outside world where they were, by throwing blueberries down a grille leading outside the car, is ingenious - and fortunately works in terms of plot and convincing the audience.
Succinctly put, after saying all that, this episode truly is a season 3 classic - and a classic of "I Spy" as a series.
