D. P. Cole's review and rating:
A very gripping story, this leaves you wanting more.
The only way it could be better is if it was written so even the audience did not know that Kelly had a bug. On the other hand, several gripping and wrenching scenes in what was produced could obviously not have been made in order to preserve this suspense. Fortunately, the writing is strong enough to make you feel for events as if you didn't know about the baddies and their scheming.
Here we have a pair of villains acquiring information by secretly bugging their adversaries. This time, it's a duo: Scott and Kelly and Kelly is bugged.
As Scott's and Kelly's contacts mysteriously die and their plans ruined, the enemies clearly delight and one clearly feels for Scott and Kelly, how they are being used and manipulated, etc. This episode does rely on emotions at times and it succeeds.
Tension really mounts when Scott decides he's not the leak and they start arguing, much to the joy of the bad guys listening in on every word. At one point, Scotty was going to turn Kelly in, until Kelly empties his pockets and sees the only possible object which could contain a bug.
The ending is fairly sad. Admittingly, it was obvious to a blind squirrel that the chick would be shot by her accomplice, but given how the scene was presented, I had to feel for her anyway.
Definitely a remarkable episode.
