R. B. Mitsch's review and rating:
Ugh. What a mess. An amazing blunder after 3 great episodes. Culp and Cosby must have struggled hard with such an awful script. This light "Inspector Clouseu"-style episode completely fails as "I Spy" material since it is the idiot partner, not enemy ingenuity, that keeps them from completing the mission. Much like the mission, the whole story turns out to be pointless.

D. P. Cole's most memorable
scene and/or quote:
The entire episode is memorable, just read my review... but I might augment R. B. Mitsch's favorite quote by publicly wondering if this episode was trying to pay homage to "Get Smart". Consider the lines in the quote, and the character named Max...

D. P. Cole's review and rating:
Not one of the best, that's a fact. This episode is categorized as a "fun" episode, complete with loads of camp... but unlike other "fun" episodes, this one lacks grace, style, and even the barest aspect of "seriousness". Since viewers had three weeks to acquaint themselves to the series, this episode must have been an unholy shock - giving them nightmares, heart attacks, and even a turf war on Evergreen Terrace. This one's a turkey and is best left to be eaten at Thanksgiving (rather than saved) and we should be thankful that few others are this bad.
