Plot:
Kelly receives orders to kill an old friend, Russ, who is suspected of being a double agent and has stolen some valuable scientific equipment to sell elsewhere. He asks Kelly to help prove his innocence for him and Kelly accepts the proposal. Russ tells Kelly that the device is in a warehouse by a shipyard and Russ has a mock-up of the device...
The remaining problem is: Is Russ being entirely truthful despite the apparent-legitimacy of his plea?

R. B. Mitsch's most memorable
scene and/or quote:
Kelly (talking with admiration in the hotel room:) "You weren't just a good teacher Russ, you were something else. I've stayed alive because of what you taught me."
Russ: "Why?"
Kelly: "Something you said once that I've never forgotten, 'In espionage we look upon the face of evil everyday, we must all be on guard not to become corrupted."
Russ: "By facing evil with the greater evil of our own."

R. B. Mitsch's review and rating:
A solid story handled well with great dialogue and acting. Scotty
really comes through in the escape scene and the Kelly distraction
fight is fun to watch. The episode is let down in certain aspects by the over-the-top comic scenes in the shipping house (firecrackers
anyone?), and the sheer lack of credibility in the epilogue scene. But the music is good and the serious moments really shine.

D. P. Cole's most memorable
scene and/or quote:
My favorite scene is in the final act (NOT the epilogue!), but I'd rather not reveal that to you, so I have a quote of my own:
Scotty (having just met Russ:) "Guy really your instructor and all that?"
Kelly: "Yeah, was..."
Scotty: "So what are you going to do about it?"
Kelly: "Do what I'm told- kill 'im"

A riveting story filled with deception, tension, and wit. A most fulfilling adventure leaving you to wonder what will happen next? Even the ending is unexpected.
