Plot:
At the request of Kelly's latest girlfriend, he and Scott go into the Mexican jungle to locate an unusual `blond haired, blue-eyed giant' who rescued her from an auto accident. This description matches the description of an Aztec God, Quetzalcoatl...
This of course, ruins their vacation, since this fellow must be found. And it seems somebody else wants to see them dead...
And as if there's not enough to do, there are Russian agents on the loose, and a Russian defector as well...

D. P. Cole's most memorable
scene and/or quote:
This is easy: Scotty's disbelief that Quetzalcoatl exists is readily apparent.
Scotty: (Having heard Kelly's story) "Well how about the fact some indians could have come by and kind of..." and "Did it have an eye in the center of its forehead and have a goose with a golden egg? ... Listen, Uh better yet than that, some little Mexicans with Sombreros; Some Mexican munchkins?"
Kelly: "She said she saw a giant."
Scotty: "Ah I like Mexican munchkins better."
Kelly: "Well, I like Mexican munchkins better myself, but by her it's Quetzalcoatl."

D. P. Cole's review and rating:
There's definitely humor in this story; but like all good "I Spy" stories, the humor is based on wit and not slapstick. Culp and especially Cosby are relishing their roles, and the characters of Scott and Kelly allow this particular humor to work without suspicion or condemned as farce.
Of course, the bulk of the story is not based on comedy; the revelation of "Quetzalcoatl" is a rather unusual one - this is not to say it's bad, of course.
Once in a while however, a fully out-of-formula story is okay, and the story could have been written without Russians (after all, Scott and Kelly are on vacation). But I will admit what was made is excellent and certainly worth a viewing.
