Plot:
Using an attractive woman as bait, Kelly is lured into a trap by a vindictive family who believes Kelly, a commanding officers for a regiment in the Korean War, had sent two of their sons into battle, with one being shot in cold blood. He tries to make an escape, but fails dismally. Meanwhile, Scotty becomes suspicious at his friend's disappearance and investigates, only to be confronted by the woman who turned in Kelly who now seems to think differently. Unfortunately, she betrayed Scott during his rescue attempt and now both face certain death. Kelly also has a fairly damning secret, which he promised not to tell. But by not telling the secret as evidence to his innocence, Kelly is literally committing suicide.

D. P. Cole's review and rating:
For a kidnap/vendetta story, the set-up to the events is somewhat interesting. One woman, pitched as bait, lures Kelly into a fairly open area where no less than 8 men quickly capture him. The family states they are honorable, so I suppose this kidnap had to be a family affair.
One problem I have with this story, although it's a minor one, is Kelly's rather stupid escape attempt. Surely after the transpired events, he wouldn't get very far even if he did escape the makeshift prison (second floor of a stable.).
The trial itself makes up for the dumbfulness of the escape attempt (in other words, paltry padding). Scotty, regardless as to how he could have found the village, is Kelly's saving grace by playing the role of Perry Mason, and very much within character too. And the ending of the episode has to be the most astonishing of them all... Like some other very good stories, this does have the rare lapse of logic.
